Homebound Ritual Scrolls are the most indispensable emergency escape and fast-travel tool in Witchspire before you unlock Hearth Teleportation. Using one triggers a brief loading screen, then warps you to your most recently visited Hearth or other safe settlement — a core early-to-mid-game survival item and the backbone of dungeon speed-farming loops.

Homebound Ritual Scrolls are the most indispensable emergency escape and fast-travel tool in Witchspire before you unlock Hearth Teleportation. Using one triggers a brief loading screen, then warps you to your most recently visited Hearth or other safe settlement — a core early-to-mid-game survival item and the backbone of dungeon speed-farming loops.
Two acquisition paths: buy from Mirella's Shop near Lost Oasis for 25 Coins (strongly recommended early — carry 1–2 before every long expedition), or batch-craft at the Witchcraft Circle once mid-game recipes unlock.

How to obtain
- Vendor buy (recommended early) — Mirella's Shop near Lost Oasis sells scrolls for 25 Coins. Keep 1–2 in your bag before long expeditions or new region pushes.
- Craft batch — At the Witchcraft Circle (Hearth Level 3): 1 Simple Ritual Candle (craft from 1 Wood at the Circle), 1 Shimmering Ink (Shimmer Dust magic synthesis line), and 1 Azure Feather (dropped by blue flying familiars such as Taileaf).
- Shimmer Dust — Gather along magical tree routes across the map; required to process Shimmering Ink for the craft route.
- Dungeon reset (Method B) — Place a Homestead outside the Witch's Pyre portal, clear the tree dungeon, then use a scroll to warp back outside instantly. See the Endgame Legendary Gear guide for the full Asterine Gem and Legendary trinket loop.
- Desert loop — Taileaf (Azure Feather) and Azurebloom both cluster in Shuddersands near Lost Oasis and Mirella's Shop. Farm feathers and blooms locally, craft scrolls on-site, then Homebound back to upgrade your Hearth without a long walk.
