Witch's Pickaxe

The Witch's Pickaxe is one of the most important tools in Witchspire — it unlocks copper and iron ore nodes needed for smelting, gear upgrades, and mid-game crafting progression.

Clearing Froblin camps has a very rare chance to drop a finished Witch's Pickaxe directly — sometimes an enhanced variant — but do not rely on that luck.

Pickaxe blueprint (Luminaries skill tree)

• Step 1 — Unlock recipe: open Luminaries and unlock the Pickaxe blueprint once your Hearth reaches level 2.
• Step 2 — Carapace: from a central Hearth, head north to the shoreline and defeat Spectra crab mobs for Carapace drops.
• Step 3 — Froblin Goo: travel northwest from your Hearth to a Froblin camp and cave; defeat Froblins for slime drops.
• Step 4 — Gemstone: rare drop from Froblins, Rocklings south of your Hearth, mining copper or gold nodes, or general combat and ore gathering — most monsters and mines have a small chance.
• Step 5 — Craft: return to the Workbench with all materials, craft the pickaxe, then equip it to start mining ore veins.
