Main Story Key Quest

Begins inside an ancient Al'uunian Tower. Interacting with a note left by a friend reveals they hid a progression key somewhere deep underground. Players must utilize the room's portal to descend.

The key location is deliberately unmarked on the world map. Players cannot find it in the immediate vicinity of the starting quest marker.

Walkthrough

  1. Step 1 · Timberline Basin Lower Beach

    Exit the Al'uunian Tower portal to arrive at the lower beachfront biome. Follow the main coastal pathway directly to your right.

    • Bompus — Common coastal wildlife found wandering the shores
    • Xilvant — Hostile or neutral creatures patrolling the right-side paths

  2. Step 2 · Shard Caverns (The Central Chamber)

    Track the path until encountering a vertical cavern opening. Jump straight into the drop-zone to enter the Shard Caverns. Avoid aggressive local mobs and navigate into the heart of the central chamber.

    • Shardling — Numerous small, aggressive crystalline creatures guarding the cavern

  3. Step 3 · The Vagabond's Lair (Boss Chamber)

    Pass through the opened security door to enter the final sub-zone. Engage and eliminate the lone elite guardian inside.
